CHICAGO — A 24-year-old man was shot in Bronzeville Thursday evening.
At 6:07 p.m., the 24-year-old was walking in the 500 block of East Bowen Avenue when two men came from a gangway and began firing at him, said Officer Veejay Zala, a Chicago Police spokesman.
The man was listed in stable condition at Northwestern Hospital after being shot in his left hand, Zala said.
No one is in custody for the shooting.
Three others were wounded in Thanksgiving shootings.
Around 4:30 p.m., a 23-year-old man was wounded in Austin. About two hours earlier, a man was wounded in a shooting in South Shore. Around 11:10 a.m., a 36-year-old man was wounded in Englewood.
