CHICAGO — A 36-year-old man was shot in Englewood Thursday afternoon.

Around 11:10 p.m., the man was walking in the 5700 block of South Sangamon Street when a man in a gray car began firing at him, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The victim attempted to run away but realized he was shot in his calf. He then drove himself to St. Bernard Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, Pacheco said.

No one is in custody for the shooting, which appears to be gang-related, Pacheco said.
