LINCOLN PARK — The city's fourth location of the trendy Pure Barre workout studio is preparing to open in Lincoln Park.

Pure Barre Lincoln Park is set to host its official opening on Monday, but it will be offering free classes Saturday and Sunday.

The newest location of the studio is opening at 2058 N. Halsted St., which was previously the Nine West Outlet shoe store.

Pure Barre fitness classes are designed to shape specific areas of the body including the "seat," hips, thighs, abs and arms by first working out a muscle and immediately stretching that body part.

The goal is for a long, lean and strong physique, according to Pure Barre.

All classes are 55 minutes long.

The preopening free classes will be held from 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Anyone interested in a free class can sign up online at this link.
