CHICAGO — Two people were shot in Humboldt Park Tuesday night, police said.

The first victim, a 22-year-old man, walked into Rush University Medical Center with a gunshot wound in his back, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man, who was listed in stable condition, told officers the shooting happened around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday as he was driving a van in the 4500 block of West Augusta Boulevard.

While he was driving, a motorcycle came up from behind and bumped his car. Then the man on the motorcycle began firing shots at him, Estrada said. The shooting appears to be gang-related, he said.

A 31-year-old man who was working on a car nearby when was wounded by the gunfire. He was taken to Oak Park Hospital after being shot in his lower left leg. He was in stable condition, Estrada said.
