NEAR WEST SIDE — Chicago native Jennifer Hudson will perform at rapper Common’s Aahh! Festival in Union Park Sunday.

Hudson, a recording artist and actress, has officially been added to the fest’s lineup, according to the Aahh! Festival website.

Common will headline the fest with a lineup that includes fellow Chicago natives Lupe Fiasco and Lil Herb, as well as De La Soul, MC Lyte, Jay Electronica, and a yet-to-be named "very special surprise guest."

Lupe Fiasco released the song “Remission,” featuring Jennifer Hudson and Common, on iTunes earlier this month.

An early show at the fest features Diggy Simmons.

Organizers announced earlier that comedian Dave Chappelle would host the inaugural Aahh! Festival in the park, 1501 W. Randolph St.

The festival originally was scheduled for two days in Jackson Park, but was moved to Union Park because of logistics.

The festival is part of a partnership between the Chicago Urban League and the Common Ground Foundation to find jobs for 5,000 Chicago youths. Organizers said the plan, announced with much fanfare in April, would offer South Side youths jobs helping to get the festival started.

Tickets to the fest are $65.
