LINCOLN PARK — Seventy-five breweries are set to take over the Lincoln Park Zoo grounds Friday night for the "Lions, Tigers & Brews" beer festival.
The event will allow attendees full access to the zoo grounds while sipping on beer from local and regional breweries.
Participating breweries include Atlas Brewing Company, Tallgrass Brewing Company, 3 Sheeps, Saugatuck, Ale Syndicate, Brewery Vivant, Finch's Beer Company, Baderbrau, Lake Effect, Founders, Furthermore, Anchor Brewing, Arcadia Ales, Flying Dog and more.
For $49 attendees includes up to 25 three-ounce samples, a souvenir glass and live music and games.
There will be up to 150 beers on site, according to the production company behind the event, Cannonball Productions.
The event will be held from 7 to 11 p.m.
Admission without drinks will be available for $19.
Last summer LivingSocial hosted a similar event at the zoo.
