CHICAGO — Originally the home of Husar Picture Frame Company established in 1934, a three-story row house with exposed brick is now on the market for $1.399 million.
The building was converted to four single-family residences 17 years ago, according to Baird and Warner's Kathy Murphy.
Today, 2240 N. Racine Ave. has unique architectural details including wood trim on large windows, tall ceilings, exposed brick and timber and a "stunning" staircase, according to Murphy.
Spanning 2,850 square feet, the sunny home has three bedrooms and four bathrooms, but the top floor family room can be used as a fourth bedroom or an office.
The living room has a limestone fireplace, and there is an abundance of storage throughout.
New owners can enjoy outdoors from either a 625-square-foot roof deck or a landscaped patio with blue stone.
