
UPTOWN — A man standing outside in Uptown was shot in the shoulder Sunday night.
It happened about 9:30 p.m. in the 4500 block of North Clarendon Avenue when a gunman approached the man and fired multiple shots, striking him at least once, police said.
The injured man was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital in good condition, according to police.
His shooter hasn't been captured. Detectives are investigating.
The incident followed neighbors' reports of gunfire Saturday night near the scene of the crime. Police said no one was injured in the Saturday shooting.
