Little Village Shooting Hospitalizes Man

CHICAGO — An 18-year-old man was shot Saturday morning in Little Village.

The man was standing in the 2700 block of West 24th Street when a dark car approached and someone inside fired at him several times. The man was hit in the chest and relatives drove the man to St. Anthony Hospital, where he was transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital. The man, who is gang-affiliated, was listed in critical condition, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago police spokeswoman.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
