CHICAGO — Construction will bring Blue Line service between the Western and Logan Square stations to a halt this weekend.

Service between the stops will be suspended 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday, though a bus shuttle will operate between the stops 24 hours a day with free transfers back into stations.

The construction will also require closures from 9 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday at these streets:

• 2455-2500 North Linden Place

• 2820-2851 West Belden Street

• 2410-2411 North Sacramento Avenue

• 2800-2815 West Lyndale Street

Another spot, 2700-2715 W. Prindiville St., will be closed 7 a.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday.

The CTA said customers should plan for 15-20 minutes of extra travel time.

The construction is part of the Your New Blue project.
