LOGAN SQUARE — A Logan Square bar known for its booze-soaked dance parties is now making sure patrons have something to eat, too.

The East Room, 2828 W. Medill Ave., will have Chicago food trucks pulled up along its back patio through the month of August, according to a news release.

First up will be Doner Men, a late-night food truck that will serve doner kebab sandwiches — piles of spit-roasted chicken topped with red cabbage, lettuce, bok choy and shirazi salad on German bread and served with flash-fried vegetables.

They'll also have currywurst sausage on the menu when they roll up on Aug. 8 from 8 to 11 p.m.

On Aug. 16, the Jerk truck will be outside the bar at the same time serving up its signature Jerk chicken sandwich (which you can read more about here) along with Jerk Wings, Jerk Fries and “Festival,” a fried Jamaican cornbread fritter that helps balance the spice of all the other jerky stuff.

Patrons will be allowed to bring their grub onto the patio and wash it down with beer from the bar, according to the release.
