CHICAGO — It's great to be responsible and get enough sleep and all that, but in the summer it's worth staying up a little past your bedtime to pack in some good times. Today, we've got music in the park, a farmers market with international flair and some boozy slushies, because you deserve 'em.

1. Drink Boozy Slushies at Parson's: Parson's Chicken and Fish in Logan Square will be serving up a new boozy slushy today. The El Buho mezcal folks will be on the patio serving up margarita slushies and shots of mezcal and verdita, which is basically a tasty green juice that you can chase tequila or mezcal with. Don't worry, its famous Negroni slushies still will be available — along with its full menu. No cover. The El Buho event runs from 3-8 p.m. on the Parson's patio, 2952 W. Armitage Ave.

2. Play Bingo: Veggie Bingo is back on our list this week because we went last week and it ruled. Here are some tips for a successful evening: Get there early to snag a seat with the "mutants" on the patio (this is a Veggie Bingo inside joke. LOLz.); buy three cards for $10 so your chances are good; wait in the hot dog line no matter how long it is (free Hot Doug's is no joke); bring more snacks so you can avoid getting too tipsy on the Hideout's signature cocktail; and run from the bar if you win the vegetable bounty to avoid being veggie-mugged by intoxicated bingo players who REALLY like kale. Free entry. Cards are $4 each or three for $10, starts at 5:30 p.m. at The Hideout, 1354 W. Wabansia Ave.

3. Classical Music in the Park: If you haven't watched a concert in Millennium Park yet this summer, you better get on it. It's beautiful, relaxing and free! You can't beat free! Bring a bottle of wine (Booze is allowed!), some snacks and a pal and make a night of it. Tonight the Grant Park Orchestra performs. Free. Show starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, 201 E. Randolph St.

4. Try Some New Food: The Devon Community Market is happening today in West Rogers Park, featuring the "local flavor" of Devon Avenue's many ethnicities, from artisanal bakeries to butcher shops. There's also live music. Free. From 4-8 p.m. in the Republic Bank parking lot, 2720 W. Devon Ave.

5. Go for a Run: It's going to be in the 70s and sunny today, which is glorious running weather! If you're a regular runner, try a new route. You can always take the train, bike or drive to the lakefront and use the path there if you don't live nearby. Out of shape? We swear by the Couch-to-5K running plan.
