Humboldt Park Shooting Leaves Man Dead

CHICAGO — Police found a man fatally shot Wednesday morning in Humboldt Park.

Officers responded to the 3300 block of West Division Street around 6:26 a.m. Wednesday and found a man with fatal gunshot wounds in his head laying on the sidewalk, said Officer Jose Estrada, a police spokesman.

The man, identified as 19-year-old Jimero Starling of the 1500 block of North Karlov Avenue, was prnouncded dead at 6:53 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
