LOGAN SQUARE — "Chicago's natural wine bar" Telegraph announced that it will close June 7 after the restaurant’s chef decided to leave the Logan Square spot.

The “amicable parting” was announced in a news release Thursday. Telegraph, 2601 N. Milwaukee Ave., plans to reopen with a new concept in early July.

Executive chef Johnny Anderes left to explore new opportunities, the Telegraph's owners said.

“We are extremely grateful to Johnny, our wonderful staff, friends, guests, and the Logan Square community for all of your support over the past three years," the owners' statement said. "We’re looking forward to our next phase and are excited to continue offering great places to eat and drink in the neighborhood."
