CHICAGO — A man died after he was pulled from the Lincoln Park Lagoon Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

The man, who appeared to be 17 to 25 years old, was pulled from the water about 2:11 p.m. in the 2400 block of North Lake Shore Drive, according to Officer Stacey Cooper.

The man was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in critical condition, fire officials said.

He was later pronounced dead at the hospital, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
