CHICAGO — Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a Near West Side man in West Garfield Park Friday afternoon.
Terrell Wilson, 21, of the 1100 block of South Throop Street, was found dead in the 4000 block of West Van Buren Street shortly before 1 p.m., authorities said.
Police said Wilson was involved in a fight with someone. Several people exited a vehicle and fired shots at Wilson, striking him multiple times.
He was pronounced dead on the scene at 1:20 p.m., the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said. Area North detectives are investigating, police said.
