CHICAGO — A man died three days after he and another man were shot in their heads while in a car in Logan Square, authorities said.
Sixto Roman, 34, of the 3300 block of North Monticello Avenue, was pronounced dead at 12:55 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
He was one of two men in a light-colored sedan driving in the 3200 block of West Armitage Avenue about 12:45 a.m. Saturday, police said.
At that time, a light-colored SUV passed by and someone shot at the sedan. Both men were shot in their heads. The driver, believed to be Roman, was shot twice and the passenger suffered a head graze.
They both arrived at St. Mary Hospital and were transported to Stroger Hospital, according to police, but Roman was pronounced dead at St. Mary, according to medical examiners.
The shooting is believed to be gang-related.
