CHICAGO — A man was fatally shot in his head Friday evening in South Austin, police said.
Police received calls of shots fired in the 4900 block of West Huron Street about 5:20 p.m., said Officer Janel Sedevic, a police spokeswoman.
The man was found face down when cops arrived.
Timothy Travis, 21, of the 4900 block of West Quincy Street, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
