ROSCOE VILLAGE — Forget Miley and Robin Thicke. The most talked-about mashup this summer is sure to be the collaboration between Black Dog Gelato and Glazed and Infused.
We're talking ice cream sandwiches, people. Made with gelato. And doughnuts.
The party kicks off at 5 p.m., Aug. 29, at both Black Dog locations: 1955 W. Belmont Ave. and 859 N. Damen Ave.
Pre-orders for the sandwiches has already closed but fear not, Glazed and Infused has promised to whip up the confections on the spot for drooling patrons.
The sandwiches come in four combinations: apple fritter with salted peanut gelato, toffee doughnut with milk stout gelato, lemon doughnut with blueberry French toast gelato, or classic chocolate doughnut with Nutella and pretzel gelato.
Cost is $6-$8 per sandwich.
