IRVING PARK — Apparently not satisfied with stealing Christmas, the Grinch is going after Easter too.

Old Irving Park Association is warning residents that the neighborhood's annual Easter egg hunt, scheduled for March 30 at Belding Elementary, will be canceled unless it can recruit more volunteers.

A post to the group's Facebook page stated: "We need a new generation of parents to take over these events. We would hate to see these lovely traditions — which make our community so great — fade away."

Volunteer opportunities include greeting families, snapping photos of the egg hunt, face painting and picking up balloons. Approximately 30 people are needed to help out at the event at the school at 4257 N. Trip Ave.
