Gunman In Spider-Man Mask Robs Northwest Side 7-Eleven

A gunman wearing a Spider-Man mask robbed a Northwest Side 7-Eleven early Tuesday.

CHICAGO — A robber wearing a Spider-Man mask held up a 7-Eleven with a gun in Montclare early Tuesday morning.

The faux superhero pulled a gun on a clerk at the convenience store in the 2700 block in North Harlem Avenue about 5 a.m., said officer Laura Kubiak, a police spokeswoman. 

The gunman demanded money and fled the store with an unknown amount of cash, Kubiak said. No one was hurt during the robbery.

No further description of the robber was available.
