CHICAGO — Four people were shot early Sunday morning, including a man attending a party at a hotel in the Loop.
Police said a 25-year-old man was shot about 2:15 a.m. while he was at a party on the 22nd floor of the Palmer House Hilton Hotel at 17 E. Monroe St.
The man was shot in the right leg and was brought to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition, according to police spokesperson Officer Laura Kubiak.
Kubiak said there were no other injuries reported from the incident.
A sokesman for the hotel was unavailable to comment on the shooting Sunday morning, hotel staff said.
Just after 5 a.m., another man was shot in the city's Westlawn neighborhood. Police said a 19-year-old man was getting out of a car on the 3900 block of West 65th Place when shots were fired from a nearby SUV.
The man was hit in the jaw and the hand and was taken to Holy Cross Hospital where he is in stable condition, Kubiak said.
Also about 5 a.m., a man walked into Our Lady of Resurrection Medical Center with a gunshot would to his upper right arm, authorities said.
The man, 22, was in the riding in a car near the instersection of West North Avenue and North Hamlin Avenue when shots rang out and struck him in the arm. He is in stable condition, Kubiak said.
Before 5:30 a.m., another man was shot in the city's Grand Crossing neighborhood.
Police said the 28-year-old man was walking down the 300 block of East 75th Street towards a local lounge when a silver Lexis stopped nearby. The passenger in the car began shooting and the man was hit in the hand, Kubiak said.
The man was taken to St. Bernard Hospital where he is in good condition, Kubiak said.
