Taxpayer Funded Power Washing Project Cleans Sidewalks in the Rain

On a rainy morning, Cleanslate workers started power-washing the sidewalks in Bucktown. After putting out an RFP, the Special Service Area #33/WPB contracted with vendor Cleanslate to powerwash sidewalks on Wicker Park and Bucktown's major throughway streets like Western, Milwaukee, Ashland, Armitage, and Damen. The project began Oct. 22, 2012 and is estimated to take two weeks, regardless of the weather.
