Manny's, which has served up the Taste of Chicago's signature treat for years, will not be at the fest.

The free food festival will run July 8 through 12 in Grant Park.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel said he wants to make sure the Taste of Chicago remains profitable.

The city will sell 3,000 lawn seats to concerts during the Taste if Rahm's ordinance is approved.

But aldermen asked the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events for more notice on film shoots.
