A spokeswoman confirmed that a "Starbucks location" will open at Clark and Diversey sometime in spring.

Free coffee and pastries were served to customers Tuesday.

The store was shipped out from California and assembled within weeks on Broadway, the store manager said.

The drive-thru and walk-up should open in the fall, the mega-coffee chain confirmed.

Michael Harding had last been seen Friday after leaving work as a barista at a River North Starbucks.

The coffee shop and eatery are part of a plan to make Western Avenue more pedestrian friendly.
