The new riverfront Apple store opens Friday off Michigan Avenue. Here's a sneak peek. 

The roof of the new riverfront store has curved edges and a white Apple logo, just like a Macbook.

The food truck fests now include monthly shindigs off Michigan Avenue. 

The 30th-floor video also shows Mag Mile Lights Festival setup. 

That big cavity on the riverfront is starting to look like a store. 

The 25-foot Honest Abe is going up where a similarly enormous Marilyn Monroe once stood.

We visited a pop-up cat-themed spa Downtown, and it was purrfect.

It was a chainsaw actually that did in the trees along the Chicago River on Tuesday afternoon.

The owner of Pioneer Court is fencing off some of the Riverwalk to make way for the new Downtown store. 

Apple is moving its Mag Mile store to the banks of the Chicago River. 

The Michigan Avenue march aimed to raise awareness of the 442 Chicagoans shot and killed this year. 

The festivities begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21.

It's a pop-up store out of Las Vegas selling apparel from Toms and Raven + Lilly. 

The iPhone and iPad maker is "zeroing in" on Pioneer Court closer to the Chicago River,  Crain's  says.
