Sandra Leonard of Beverly will showcase 15 pieces of her bizarre "wearable art" Saturday night.

The neighboring Beverly taverns will host the annual benefit for children born a bit different.

Oaxacan artist Carlos Orozco will lead the class from 1-3 p.m. at the center, 2407 W. 111th St.

The "Halloweensteen" show begins at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Beverly Arts Center. Tickets cost $30.

The latest edition of the South Side storytelling series will focus on race and segregation.

“Elevation: The Rise of Beverly/Morgan Park” opens at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Beverly Arts Center.

The sprawling mural depicts rolling hills of farmland, Beverly's housing stock, Lake Michigan and more.

The community art center had until Aug. 31 to raise $10,000 to help pay for programming, staff and more.

Linking security cameras to the city's emergency response teams will be among the topics covered.

The one-hour show will be performed without an intermission for children 2-8 years old.

"Nothin's On The Square" looks at Houlihan's efforts to rally 19th Ward voters for Jesus "Chuy" Garcia.

The fundraiser will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. tonight at Lagunitas' taproom in North Lawndale.

Rollo Radford, a bassist and vocalist, will also perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Morgan Park.

The power pop music cover band will play at 7 p.m. in the courtyard at 2407 W. 111th St. in Morgan Park.
