A man wearing a bandana and sunglasses robbed a Fifth Third bank at 640 W. Diversey Pkwy. Tuesday.

At least two suspects are in custody.

Jamal Genson appeared in federal court Wednesday and was charged with a count of felony bank robbery.

The Greater Chatham Alliance has demanded the removal of the detector from the Grand Crossing branch.  

The latest robbery occurred at a TCF Bank, 4355 N. Sheridan Rd., on Tuesday, according to the FBI.

There were no reported injuries following the Wednesday morning incident at 180 N. Michigan Ave.

A man attempted to rob two Loop banks and succeeded at one.

Non-takeover robberies are usually committed alone, an FBI spokeswoman said.

The woman was wearing a light-colored bandana cap, sunglasses and a dark jacket, authorities said.

Erwin Acox robbed a bank while wrapped in white tape, the feds say. He was caught on his Schwinn.

The man implied that he had a gun but didn't show one, officials said.

The FBI said no one was injured in the robbery.

The man is known for wearing face coverings or a construction vest during robberies, officials said.

A Citibank at 180 N. Michigan Ave. was robbed about 1:15 p.m., officials said.
