Two of the porches behind the Portage Theater are in disrepair and are dangerous, city officials said.

"The Strange Love of Molly Louvain" will be shown at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Patio Theater.

Carranza initially indicated intersest, but now says he just wants to help.

In November, the film society moved Downtown after a busted boiler left the Patio Theater.

Eddie Carranza, who owns both theaters, plans to concentrate on rehabbing the Portage Theater.

Screenings scheduled for Nov. 16 and Nov. 17 will take place, the owner of the Patio Theater said.
