CPS has recommended that students from Peabody Elementary School at 1444 W. Augusta Blvd. be moved to Otis School at 525 N. Armour St.
Peabody School will have community meetings on the plan from 5-7 p.m. April 8 and 12 at Roberto Clemente High School, 1147 N. Western Ave. A public hearing is then scheduled for 5:30-7:30 p.m. April 18 at the CPS Central Office, 125 S. Clark St.
Anyone wanting to comment at the meetings can sign up starting one hour before the start of the event. Speakers will be given two minutes to talk, unless the hearing officer or meeting organizer grants an extension.
