He initially started out studying to be a medical doctor, but he gave into youthful rebellion and switched paths to study computer science. He earned his degree in computer science from the City College of New York.
Daniel started out building .Net applications, but he eventually transitioned to building web applications, which he enjoys doing so much. Before joining DNAinfo, he worked as software developer in the digital advertising space and digital media.
If he's not busy geeking and hacking things out on the computer, you'll find him in the gym training hard and staying fit. He's a self-taught expert on health and fitness and good nutrition and he enjoys answering questions and sharing fitness tips with everyone.
Fun Fact: He isn't ashamed to admit that he's a gym rat who weighs his cereal bowl every morning and counts his daily protein intake.
