Andrei has lived in New York City for more than 20 years, staying at one point or another in every borough (except Staten Island!), and watching this city transform in almost every aspect.
At some point he went through a huge concert stage, and is familiar with a lot of music venues in the city - and some of them no longer exist.
Andrei studied telecommunications at CUNY, but ended up in software engineering when he found out he enjoyed that way more than figuring out phase relationships in alternating current circuits.
He keeps a close eye on the New York food scene, which just keeps getting better, and also almost always grinds and brews his own coffee.
Fun fact: Andrei's first job was as a pig herder. He's a huge fan of swine (in their original state or as bacon).
