Victoria Johnson

Reporter/Producer @vtronreports Contact

Victoria Johnson is a reporter/producer at DNAinfo Chicago, covering Logan Square, Avondale, Hermosa, Humboldt Park and West Humboldt Park.

Originally from Salt Lake City, Victoria came to DNAinfo from the Sun-Times Media Wire, where she covered police, fire and general Chicago craziness. Before that she worked as a general assignment freelance reporter for the SouthtownStar and briefly ran her own neighborhood news site, Logan Square Local. She quickly discovered she preferred reporting to editing and is happy to be wearing out her own shoes looking for stories that matter to folks in the neighborhood.

Victoria's work has also appeared in the Chicago Tribune, The Salt Lake Tribune and the Standard-Examiner in Ogden, Utah. She lives in Logan Square with her boyfriend, two large cats and one small dog.

Fun fact: Victoria is not Mormon.
