Eat Local And Earn Rewards During First Wednesday 'Dine Out & About'

ALBANY PARK — It's Wednesday, and if surviving to the middle of the week isn't reason enough to celebrate, here's another incentive to crawl off the couch: Cash.

The Albany Park Chamber of Commerce's Dine Out & About promotion aims to boost mid-week business at neighborhood restaurants by rewarding people for eating local.

Here's how it works:

• Dine out and about anywhere in Albany Park, Irving Park or North Park on the first Wednesday of every month through March.

• Email a photo of your receipt to events@northrivercommission.org.

• A winning entry will be drawn each month from among the submitted receipts, and the prize is a $25 gift certificate to a local establishment.

Dine out dates are Wednesday and Dec. 6, Jan. 3, Feb. 7 and March 7.
