WEST TOWN — A group bike ride will stop at five West Town breweries and pubs on Sunday — and costumes are encouraged.

Sponsored by the West Town Special Service Area Taxpayer District, the West Town Cycles & Suds ride is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Sunday.

It's free to join the biking tour but reservations are suggested on Eventbrite.

The event will meet at Commercial Club Park, 1845 West Rice Street at 1:30 p.m. and depart by 2:15 p.m.

Representatives from the CTA will be on hand to help teach cyclists how to safely commute by bus and train with their bikes. A model of the bike rack affixed to the front of CTA buses will be used for demonstrations and practice.
