HYDE PARK — A 19-year-old man has died after being shot in his head Wednesday afternoon in Hyde Park.
According to police, the man was shot in the forehead at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday on the 5200 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue.
He was taken to Northwestern Hospital in serious condition and later died of his injuries.
Police said detectives are pulling footage from area security cameras to get a description of the shooter.
No one is in custody and detectives were investigating.
