Irving Park Shooting Wounds 2 Teens

CHICAGO — A shooting in Irving Park left two teenagers wounded early Friday, police said.

At 1:43 a.m., a 16-year-old boy was a passenger in a car in the 3600 block of North Milwaukee Avenue when someone walked up to the car and fired shots, police said.

The boy was driven to the 1100 block of North Christiana Avenue in Humboldt Park, where someone called 911, police said. A bullet had grazed the boy's forehead and he was taken to Stroger Hospital. His condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

An 18-year-old man took himself to St. Mary Hospital. A bullet had grazed his arm during the shooting, police said.

No one was in custody.
