CHICAGO — A 29-year-old man was shot to death in South Shore late Wednesday, police said.
At 11:15 p.m., officers went to the 7800 block of South Cornell Avenue when people reported a man had been shot, police said. They found the man lying unresponsive in a parking lot.
The man had been shot multiple times in his head and body and he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Edward Duling, of the same block as where he was shot, was pronounced dead at 11:26 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one was in custody.
