CHICAGO — Shootings left one man dead and another wounded on Wednesday, police said.
• At 11:15 p.m., a 29-year-old man was gunned down in South Shore.
• At 2:15 p.m., a 28-year-old man was shot in Chatham, police said. The man was walking down the street in the 8000 block of South Stewart Avenue when someone walked up to him, took out a gun and fired shots.
The man was hit in his right arm and he was taken to St. Bernard Hospital in good condition, police said.
The shooting was possibly gang-related, a police source said.
No one was in custody in these shootings.
