CHICAGO — Shootings have left two people dead and nine wounded since Wednesday, police said.

ª At 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, a 33-year-old man was shot to death in Austin.

• At 6:13 p.m., a 43-year-old man was found slain after a shooting in Austin.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 2:35 a.m. Thursday, a 25-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale, police said. The man was in the 4700 block of West Arthington Street when he got into an argument with someone and the other person took out a gun and fired a shot.

The man was hit in his abdomen and he was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.

• At 11:48 p.m. Wednesday, a 19-year-old man was shot in Bronzeville, police said. The man was walking down the street in the 5000 block of South Indiana Avenue when someone in a black car drove up to him and fired shots.

The man was hit multiple times in his legs and was taken to Stroger Hospital. His condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 10:10 p.m., a 24-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale, police said. The man was driving down the street in the 3900 block of West Grenshaw Street when someone shot at his car.

The man was hit in his knee and crashed into two parked cars, police said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.

ª At 7 p.m., a 21-year-old man was shot in Roseland, police said. The man was standing on the corner in the first block of West 110th Street when someone fired shots at him.

The man was hit in his abdomen and he was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center. His condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The shooting was possibly gang-related, a police source said.

• At 3:45 p.m., a 19-year-old man and 22-year-old man were shot in North Lawndale, police said. The men were walking in the 1300 block of South Homan Avenue when they heard shots and felt pain.

The 19-year-old was hit in his forearm and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said. The 22-year-old was hit in his hand and he took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital. His condition was unknown.

The shooting was possibly gang-related, a police source said.

• At 3:19 p.m., a 17-year-old was shot in Brighton Park, police said. The teen was standing in front of a home in the 3100 block of West 38th Street when someone in a red SUV drove up and a person in the car fired shots.

A bullet hit the home, ricocheted and hit the teen in his neck, police said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.

• At 10:45 a.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale, police siad. The man was standing on the corner in the 3000 block of West Roosevelt Road when he heard shots.

The man ran and realized he'd been hit in his leg. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 9:25 a.m., a 22-year-old man was shot in Little Village.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
