HUMBOLDT PARK — A man has exposed himself several times near a day care center in Humboldt Park in recent months, police reported Saturday.

Between May 22 and June 22, a man exposed himself to a person in the immediate area of a child day care center in the 2700 block of West North Avenue, police said. The man is wanted for public indecency, and police released a photo of the suspect Saturday.

The man has been seen back in the area near North and California avenues this month, police said.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, about 30-35 years old, about 5-foot-8-inches, 180 pounds with dark hair and a full mustache with beard, police said. The man most recently was spotted wearing a red T-shirt with dark blue jeans, according to a report.

Neighbors should call 911 to report any suspicious activity in the area, police said, and should not let children walk outside alone.

Anyone with information should contact Area North detectives at 312-744-8261 and reference case JA-441812.
