HYDE PARK — Two men behind an armed robbery Thursday in Hyde Park have been arrested, University of Chicago Police said.

The wwo men, one armed with a handgun, allegedly robbed two people at 10 p.m. in the 800 block of East 54th Street and ran away through an alley.

Police said they caught the duo shortly afterward in the 5900 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue.

The suspects are now in Chicago Police Department custody and have been charged with armed robbery.
