CHICAGO — Shootings have killed one person and wounded five others since Wednesday morning, police said.

• At 1:03 a.m. Thursday, a 30-year-old man was shot and killed in Gage Park. Another man, 30, was critically wounded in the attack.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 10:54 p.m. Wednesday, a 36-year-old man and 37-year-old man were shot in Grand Crossing, police said. The two were standing outside in the 6900 block of South Woodlawn Avenue when someone in a minivan drove up and fired shots at the two.

The 36-year-old was hit in his back and the 37-year-old was hit in his arms, torso and pelvis. They were taken to Northwestern Hospital, where they were in critical condition, police said.

• At 8:34 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, police said. The man was in the 4400 block of West Jackson Boulevard when he was shot in his chest.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was in critical condition, police said.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 4:10 p.m., a 13-year-old boy was shot while walking in South Deering.

• At 12:50 p.m., a 50-year-old man was shot in Englewood, police said. The man was in the 300 block of West 75th Street when he got into an argument over money with a 27-year-old man.

The 27-year-old took out a gun and the 50-year-old grabbed it, leading to a struggle, police said. During the struggle, the 50-year-old was shot in his lower right leg.

The attacker is 27 years old and wore a white T-shirt, red jogging pants and had long dreadlocks, police said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
