CHICAGO — Two men were shot in Gage Park early Thursday, leaving one dead and the other wounded, police said.
At 1:03 a.m., the men were inside a car in the 5100 block of South Albany Avenue when someone in another car drove up and fired shots, police said.
The men, both 30 years old, were hit multiple times throughout their bodies, police said. One was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
Manuel Hernandez, of suburban Cicero, was pronounced dead at 1:25 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one was in custody.
