HYDE PARK — Author David Masciotra will be at the Seminary Cooperative Bookstore Tuesday to talk about his book that tries to get past the the denigration and idolization of Barack Obama.
Masciotra will come to the bookstore at 5751 S. Woodlawn Ave. at 6 p.m. Tuesday to discuss “Barack Obama: Invisible Man.”
The book is Masciotra’s attempt to get past the demonization of Obama on the right and the idolization of Obama on the left to assess who he is after his two-term presidency.
Masciotra is also a contributor to online magazine Salon.
