A Wendy's is set to open Sept. 25 in a former KFC just south of the MiCa Towers at 2215 N. Washtenaw Ave., district manager Shawn Knox said.
Ald. Joe Moreno, whose 1st Ward includes the restaurant, is scheduled to attend the grand opening ceremony Sept. 30, Knox said.
Wendy's is joining a complex that's home to a Bubbleland laundromat, Chase bank and Orangetheory Fitness gym.
