LINCOLN SQUARE — Police are warning residents of Lincoln Square and Ravenswood of three incidents Thursday in which a man on a bike approached women and groped them — including two women who had children in strollers with them.

According to additional reports on social media, the man aggressively slapped or grabbed the womens' rear ends.

The man is described as white or Hispanic and 25-40 years old. He was "possibly" wearing a dark baseball cap and a black and gray-striped sweater and blue jeans, police said. He was riding a silver BMX-style bike.

The assaults occurred at:

• 10:30 a.m. in the 4400 block of North Ravenswood Avenue. A 41-year-old woman was walking alone when a man rode behind her and touched her inappropriately, according to the police report. The woman confronted the man and chased him north on Ravenswood.

• 10:45 a.m. in the 4600 block of North Campbell Avenue. A 31-year-old woman was pushing her child in a stroller when a man rode up and groped her. She chased the man, who fled eastbound into a nearby alley.

• 10:57 a.m. in the 2300 block of West Sunnyside Avenue. An 18-year-old woman was pushing a child in a stroller when she was similarly groped from behind by a man on a bike. According to police, "The offender casually continued riding westbound on Sunnyside."
