Bronzeville Summer Nights Ends Tonight With A Bash on 43rd Street

BRONZEVILLE — Bronzeville is closing out its Bronzeville Summer Nights series with a big blowout on 43rd Street on Friday.

The summer-long series of events that brings shoppers to the neighborhood is ending its fifth year with live music, bike tours and more.

All events are free and run from 6-9 p.m. Friday on 43rd Street from Cottage Grove Avenue to Martin Luther King Drive.

The center of activity will be around the Connection, 4321 S. Cottage Grove Ave., with a performance by Baritone, Sib’s Breakfast Club and retail pop-up shops.

The Chicago Blues Museum will present a special “Unsung Bronzeville” exhibit at Venue Victoria, 4315 S. Cottage Grove Ave.

Small Shops Cycle and Service, 4250 S. Cottage Grove Ave., will be giving bike tours around the neighborhood with Divvy and Slow Roll Chicago.

Businesses will be offering special sales or other deals during the event sponsored by the Quad Communities Development Corp.
