Café Bustelo
HUMBOLDT PARK — Cuban-born coffee roaster Café Bustelo is taking over a Humboldt Park coffee shop for one weekend only, offering free daytime cups of coffee to anyone who wants one.
As part of a national tour, the pop-up will run Sept. 22-24 at Cup & Spoon, 2415 W. North Ave., from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. each day.
The folks from the Miami, Fla.-based cafe will be serving up both iced and hot coffee, including cortadito, cafecito and cafe con leche — all free of charge.
In addition to free coffee, patrons can expect a photo booth, live music from a Latin band, Flamenco ensemble and DJs, as well as dance performances led by experts who specialize in salsa and kizomba, among other types of traditional Latin dance.
