BRIDGEPORT — The Eleanor Street Boathouse is looking for help on its programming offerings, and it wants to hear from the community.

A survey has been launched that seeks input on the park's classes, training sessions and other programming that is provided at the new park that's still officially called Park 571, 2828 S. Eleanor St.

Members of the South Branch Park Advisory Council are asking members of the community to give input on what classes should be offered at the park. In the fall the park is offering yoga, a stretching glass and a "boot camp" class, according to its website.

A similar survey was launched by the community group before the park's opening in December. The answers informed the programming offerings, and now the group is wanting to know how the programming has worked.

"It has been nine months since the boathouse ribbon-cutting, and it's important to revisit this topic to ensure we capture the community's perspective," the park advisory council said in an email.
